On the 8th of October, the Newcastle Libraries opened its doors to the AHWBN to celebrate the Book Launch of 'Migration: Identity and Memory'.

This book is part of the path towards the culmination of our mission, whilst highlighting the various challenges that outstanding women and members of our organisation overcame to become the successful and happy Australian citizens and residents they are today.

The AHWBN is leaving a memento as an inspiration for future generations of Hispanic women migrating to Australia.

The Australian Hispanic Women' s Business Network (AHWBN), was created in 2005, with the idea of highlighting the profile of the Hispanic woman in Australia.

The group is formed by Spanish speaking immigrant women who continuously contribute to the successful integration of the Hispano-Australian community in multiple ways. Through these years and with an objective approach, the AHWBN has gradually increased in number of members and friends, due to its positive and dynamic nature.
