AHWBN AWARD The Australian Hispanic Women’s Business Network, AHWBN (Red Australiana de Mujeres Hispanas) is an Australian, cultural, non-for-profit organisation, which aims to gather Hispanic women, highlighting their personal, professional and/or educational achievements, while promoting their Heritage and values, within the Australian community.
To reaffirm and strengthen this Mission, the AHWBN has established a Yearly Award, to identify and recognise an outstanding Hispanic Woman, who has made a positive impact within the Australian Community.
The main objective of this Award, is, for the winner, to inspire other women from non English speaking backgrounds, to overcome initial challenges, and pursue their ideals.
Criteria to participate in the AHWBN Award:
• To be a Spanish speaking woman, who has migrated to Australia.
• To promote her Hispanic heritage and values, within the Australian community, through her achievements.
• To present supporting documentation for this Nomination.
• Candidates can be self nominated or nominated by someone else.
A panel of three (3) jurors has been established to evaluate the nominations and choose the winner.
