Beatriz Copello
Dr Beatriz Copello, is a Psychologist, poet and fictions writer. Her work has been published in literary journals and in many feminist publications, International Festivals and has been the recipient of several prizes, including First Prize in the 2000 Sydney Writers’ Festival.
In 1996 Beatriz was invited at the 11th Annual Conference of the American Association of Australian Literary Studies, at Humboldt University, Arcata, California. And, at the Ubud Writers Festival, 2005.
In 2003 she was awarded a Doctor of Creative Arts Degree (Creative Writing) from the University of Wollongong.
Beatriz arrived in 1971 and has been working for the Australian Government for 28 years.
